At Parkview Homes, we place our highest priority on customer satisfaction. That’s why we’ve always followed strict procedures when it comes to the building and finishing of your dream.

With that in mind, we want you - our customer - to be as involved as possible in the planning, construction and inspection of your new home every step of the way.

1. “What’s Next” Meeting
We guide our homeowners through the entire building process, starting with this meeting where we familiarize you with your construction team, explain what to expect at different stages of construction and answer any questions regarding the overall construction timeline. This is also when any last-minute structural changes can be made.

2. Pre-Construction Meeting
In this meeting, you will review the final electrical plan and blueprints, go over the general construction guidelines and techniques and become familiar with the construction timeline.

3. Frame Walk
Once your house is framed, we will schedule a “frame walk” before the drywall is installed. At this point, Parkview’s construction professionals will explain the home’s structural components, verify locations of utilities and optional features, and answer any questions you may have about the inner workings of your new home.

4. Quality Assurance Inspection
A week prior to the actual homeowner walk through, Parkview performs its own quality control inspection, or “Q-walk.” We consider this our dress rehearsal walk to ensure readiness. During this stage we put ourselves in your shoes, inspecting everything from tile work to light switches. After this inspection, any needed repairs or touch-ups are made and the home is thoroughly cleaned in preparation for the final walk through with you, the homeowner.

5. New Home Orientation
One week before closing, you will be asked to attend an orientation of your new home with our company representative. Our representative will instruct you on the use and care of your home, as well as answer any questions you may have. You will also have the opportunity to note any items which you feel may require our attention.

6. Title Transfer
Approximately seven days after your New Home Orientation, you will be asked to re-meet with us at your new home. At this Acceptance Meeting, you will review the completed work items, and sign-off on them. The transfer of title usually takes place later that same day.

7. Three Month Follow Up
After 3 months of living in your new home, we understand that minor items of adjustment or warranty may be needed. It is at this time we will review your requested warranty services and schedule the work accordingly.

8. Eleven Month Follow Up
As your HBA Limited Homeowner warranty period is drawing to a close, we will contact you to submit your final items of warranty. We will then review, and schedule them accordingly, ensuring your continued satisfaction.
